Sometimes you just have to be at the right time and the right spot! And this happened to be at the Classic Remise in Düsseldorf when I was approached by HK Engineering to photograph one of their finished 300SL restaurations.
They told me that the iconic car will shipped to the Middle East the next day and that they don´t have any pictures yet. So I asked them to pull it out of the shop and present it accordingly, which they did!
A year later they came back to me and asked for approval if the pictures could be used in an upcomming book on the 300 SL!
