Entering the Apalaches from the south I found the first photo location at the Long Creek Falls. It is located on the Appalachian Trail near the Three Forks where the Appalachian, Benton MacKaye and Duncan Ridge Trails meet. Only a service road leads up this area and there is no cell phone reception.
